From readers of Ambolaja: Into The Light by Amalie J Rush Hill
“Your writing style is very different from most of the authors that I read. I like the way that you switch sentence structure between the different ‘worlds’. I found the story to be an innovative take on the girl-meets-boy story. I found your book to be very refreshing and I enjoyed it very much…I am going online to Amazon and Barnes and Nobles to put a review on the book.”
“I was captivated by the silhouette of the woman with long hair on the cover of Ambolaja, Into the Light. It was hard for me to put down. If you knew me, you’d know that I don’t read much fiction. However, I had a hard time putting Ambolaja down. I loved following the main character, Jericha Miller, through her adventures into different worlds. The book has many surprising developments and kept me turning the pages. I loved that Ambolaja turned out different than I expected.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading your novel.”
Comments from readers of Ambolaja: Into The Light
“Working for Weiser [a non-fiction publisher] it’s not often I work on a manuscript by someone who writes any better…”
From a retired Methodist minister:
“Here’s a suggestion – secure a copy of Gifts From Eykis by Wayne Dyer. For me – it’s almost uncanny how similar it is to Ambolaja: Into the Light which I read with a great deal of interest.” [I have not read Dr. Dyer’s book and haven’t been able to find a copy of it.]
“I just finished reading your wonderful book. I enjoyed it so much that I finished it in two days. It just kind of carried me along. The pages were densely packed with adventures, thoughts, relationships and reflections.”
Comments from readers of Ambolaja: Into The Light
“I really think you’ll like [Patrick] Rothfuss’ book [The Name of the Wind]. It was on the NY Times bestseller list (which is not always a guarantee), but in this case, I think the praise is justified. It’s like yours [Ambolaja] in the sense that the characters and places seem so real that the fantasy part hardly seems like fantasy, but something altogether (almost) believable.”

“I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed Ambolaja. It’s a beautiful tale with a wonderful underlying philosophy. The characters became so real to me – I’ve even dreamt about them since finishing the book! I’m honored to know the author and I’m eager to recommend it to all my friends.”
“I loved the book. It deserves success. I was so engrossed in it, as much as I ever am with a bestseller. I read it every night and spent a whole morning finishing it up. I hope it’s selling well. Anyway, just wanted you to know I really enjoyed the book.”

/ August 24, 2011Upon reading Discontinuity – Volume two of Ambolaja, by Amalie J. Rush Hill, I couldn’t help pondering what would happen if politicians looking for power were to read Discontinuity before getting elected. If you are looking for a writer that knows how to narrate your own personal voyage into a path of light and knowledge, I highly recommend reading Amalie J. Rush Hill’s outstanding metaphysical books, Ambolaja into the Light and her latest book, Discontinuity, Volume two of Ambolaja.
